Hungary is famous for its folk dance. It boasts its own college dedicated to the study of folk dances, and you can see this expertise firsthand during a one-hour folk performance. You can watch the diverse repertoire of music and dances of the Rajkó Folk Ensemble. The performance consists of two 30-minute parts, with an intermission. The Rajkó Folk Ensemble was founded in 1950, and for over 70 years its members have been dedicated to staging authentic Hungarian folk dances and preserving Hungarian folk traditions as a professional folk ensemble.
